Ko’olina

Ko’olina is one of the first communities as you enter the west coast of Oahu. If you own or plan to own property in this area, here’s what you should know.

Ko’olina, HI Overview

In Hawaiian, “Ko Olina” means “fulfillment of joy.” In ancient lore, the Fire Goddess Pele found this to be a place of respite, and Hawaiian royalty found renewal here as well. Today, four luxury resorts flourish in that tradition, creating a tourism engine for Oahu’s west side. But Ko Olina isn’t just for tourists. There are also six village communities, offering cottages, villas, townhomes, and condominiums for the kama’aina who call this oasis home. Golf its highly-ranked course; sail from its private marina; sample its fine-dining restaurants; or just bask on the sands of one of its four lagoons. You might find out just why Ko Olina has been considered for centuries to be a place of joy. Ko’olina is also home to several major resorts, including the Disney Aulani resort, Four Seasons, and Marriott.
