Born and raised in the east coast town of Mystic, Connecticut, we moved from house to house as my folks flipped each one into a profitable investment.
My career in management began at 17 years old as a Dock Master at a 300 slip marina . Throughout my time at the University of Massachusetts Amherst I worked as a resident manager for student housing while studying hotel facilities management. During the summers and winters, I interned for Hyatt Hotels in their management training program. Shortly after graduation, I relocated to Oahu where I spent the next 12 years leading upwards of 200+ hard working individuals at the 1,230 room Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort. In my years on Oahu, I worked through 3 major hotel renovations, and opened the Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach Hotel, where I spent the last 4 years of my hotel career as director of operations and facilities management. Managing assets for Hyatt taught me many lessons. Among the most important, building trust with owners by proving every day that their asset is in good hands.
In 2015 I joined with David Moyer and Donnie Torres to found Hawaii Sands Realty. Our driving focus since our founding has been helping our clients exceed their property investment goals.
