West Oahu’s newest master-planned community is Hoopili. Still in its early phases of development, when finished, it will practically be a city unto itself, with 1200 homes, five public schools, millions of square feet of commercial space, and even hundreds of acres of community gardens. Recreational centers and parks will provide a hearty neighborhood vibe. Hoopili is all about flexibility. There will be condos and townhomes, as well as single- and multi-generational houses available. Shopping centers will provide all of life’s necessities, but each single-family home is also sold with edible landscaping. Select FLEX homes will allow residents to work and live in their homes, but there will also be three HART rail stations providing an easy commute into downtown Honolulu. It is one of the most affordable communities on the island, but the famous beaches and luxuries of the Ewa Plain couldn’t be more accessible.
