The main thoroughfare through ʻĀina Haina is the often mispronounced “Kalaniana’ole Highway”. While this neighborhood has some beach front properties the majority of ʻĀina Haina’s real estate extends north, upward into the valley. Notable areas of interest in ʻĀina Haina includes a large community park, the ʻĀina Haina Shopping Center, and the Kawaikui Beach Park.
Restaurants, Entertainment, and More
The Kahala Mall, complete with retail shops, grocery stores, and entertainment is a ten minute drive away to the west. In short distance to this east you’ll find the Costco Wholesale warehouse, the Hawai’i Kai Towne Center, and a variety of al fresco restaurants.
If you plan to commute to work from this area beware, the Kalaniana’ole Highway can oftentimes get congested, with traffic going west in the morning and then east in the afternoon. Other than the traffic, ʻĀina Haina is a wonderful place to consider for real estate investing.
