Diamond Head

Known as "Lē‘ahi" ("brow of the 'ahi fish") in the Hawaiian language and more popular as "Diamond Head", it is perhaps Hawaii's most iconic geological feature.  It is known for its military history, historic hiking trail, and for the stunning coastal view of Waikiki from its summit.

The Diamond Head real estate region includes the neighborhood immediately west of its base but does not include Waikiki, which is considered part of the Metro-Oahu region.  Instead, this region extends further to the east as far out as the Kuliouou neighborhood and just shy of Hawaii Kai.

Real estate in the Diamond Head region is incredibly diverse.  Luxury homes and condominiums line the the southern shores while quiet neighborhoods surrounded by lush green valleys are located to the north.  Residents of these areas enjoy easy access to grocery stores such as Times Supermarket, Whole Foods Market and Costco; shopping and entertainment at the Kahala Mall, and the unique neighborhood of Waialae which always offers a wide variety of unique restaurants.

With its proximity to Waikiki, beautiful vistas, restaurants, and activities the Diamond Head Region is highly coveted.  Whether you are interested in buying or selling real estate, or looking for qualified property management professionals, the professionals at Hawaii Sands Realty are at your service.
