Known as "Lē‘ahi" ("brow of the 'ahi fish") in the Hawaiian language and more popular as "Diamond Head", it is perhaps Hawaii's most iconic geological feature. It is known for its military history, historic hiking trail, and for the stunning coastal view of Waikiki from its summit.
The Diamond Head real estate region includes the neighborhood immediately west of its base but does not include Waikiki, which is considered part of the Metro-Oahu region. Instead, this region extends further to the east as far out as the Kuliouou neighborhood and just shy of Hawaii Kai.
